Through the Cracks
These blooms are beautiful, and somewhere they know it. But the world kept asking them to forget.
They grew where they weren't wanted — up through the cracks, toward a sky that was never promised to them. Tall. Fierce. Unapologetically not nice — but beautiful. And still the voices came: shrink, quiet down, be smaller, be sweet.
They don't listen to anyone who can't see their beauty.
So they go soft instead — they listen to their own heart, they let the tears come. They get angry at everything that wanted them silent and small. And then they remember their own strength, and they grow tall again.
Two earrings that refuse to match. One a wreath, one a climbing stem — sisters, never twins. Sky-blue glass blooms hand-stitched along a living green rope, a freshwater pearl crowning each, a raw chrysocolla lapis drop pooling blue-green at the end. Sterling silver ear wires. One falls 7cm, the other 6.1cm — different on purpose, because matching was never the point.
Worn together, they are a small act of defiance you can put on in the morning.
Not nice. Never nice. Beautiful.
Made once. Won't be made again.
Arrives in a linen pouch, ready to wear or gift. Made once. Won't be made again. Questions? Get in touch.
